After Your Ride

Don't Leave
Gardiner Too Fast

Our tours wrap up by 12:30 PM — which means your whole afternoon is still in front of you. Gardiner is a genuinely great little town. Here's how to spend it.

Iron Horse Bar & Grill

The iconic deck at the Iron Horse is the best seat in Gardiner. Grab a huckleberry cider, watch the Yellowstone River, and decompress after a morning on the trail. A Gardiner institution.

Browse Main Street & Go Antiquing

Gardiner’s Main Street offers a small but memorable mix of local shops, including a touch of antiquing and classic Montana charm. Stop intoOld Glory Gift & Souvenir— the kind of place where you wander, find something unexpected, and leave with a piece of Montana.

Yellowstone Hot Springs

Just eight miles north of the park entrance, this natural mineral hot springs is one of the best ways to end an active day. Soak in pools ranging from a refreshing 60°F cold plunge to a deeply relaxing 103–105°F hot pool — all nestled on the bank of the Yellowstone River with mountain views in every direction. Open Wednesday through Sunday.

Head Into the Park

The north entrance is right here. Mammoth Hot Springs, the Lamar Valley, Tower Fall — all of Yellowstone's northern highlights are accessible from Gardiner. The park opens the moment you pass the Arch.

Fish the Yellowstone

Just steps from town, the Yellowstone River offers world-class wild trout fishing — native cutthroat, rainbow, and brown trout. Local outfitters provide guided fly fishing trips for every skill level. Get your Montana fishing license here.

Just Sit and Look

Sometimes the best thing you can do in a place this beautiful is find a spot by the river, breathe, let the day slow down, and be grateful you're here. Gardiner was made for this.
